Jon Schnepp is an American Director, Writer, Producer. Jon has made original programming for Cartoon Network, FX, MTV, Nickelodeon, SpikeTV, and Comedy Central. He graduated from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a BFA, winning 3rd place ranking of all BFA/MFA’s in awarded fellowships. He was also the Student Union President. Schnepp started his career as Art Director /Animation Director / Editor for MTV’s live action interactive movie “Club Dead”, and then immediately moved into editing many episodes of “Space Ghost: Coast to Coast” back before Adult Swim was Adult Swim. He then went on to direct the Pilot and multiple segments for “The Upright Citizens Brigade” on Comedy Central. Jon then moved to Hollywood, California, to pursue further adventures in media. After working on many different projects in CA., Jon designed and created the band characters of Dethklok for Tommy Blacha and Brendon Small, and they sold the series to Adult Swim a few months afterwards. Schnepp went on to direct 34 epsiodes and co-produce on all four seasons of the megahit Adult Swim animated series “Metalocalypse”. Jon also directed over 15 animated music videos for the Dethklok live concert tour. Schnepp co-plotted and did covers for the new Dark Horse Comic Book Series based on “Metalocalypse”. The founders, 3 Boys Productions, premiered their locally produced short horror film "Under the Bridge" in 1998, and the MIFF was born in 1999. Morgan Wilson has been active in the arts for so long that she can't even recall her first art lessons--but legend tells of a toddler whose earnest fascination with architecture & anatomy marked her as a natural talent. The history of her early artistic development--as transcribed by the elders--tells of a leap from crayon scribbles directly into realism, bypassing gangly stick figures to begin her work in carefully rendering the world around. Her early advancement in the arts lead to a young life buzzing with creative opportunities: Private lessons, group lessons, and juried art shows colored her world--a world ever expanding through regular visits to fine art museums and science camps, eventually leading to a European tour that solidified a tangible lust for the transcendent language of Art in human history. Anna Stasia began her cosplay adventure in 2013. In that time she has made nearly 100 cosplays. She focuses on sewing intensive cosplays and utilizes her 15+ years of experience as a self-taught seamstress. Every year, she tackles one intricate sewing project, aiming to improve her skills. She is constantly seeking new techniques and trying new things to improve her creations. Recently, Anna Stasia began adding more armor and prop building to her repertoire. Since starting her cosplay journey, she has crafted various items with worbla, sculpting clay, resin casting, LED lights, and EVA foam. Currently, she's learning the intricacies of adding a motorized component to a future cosplay. Anna Stasia loves to challenge herself and learn new talents so she tackles at least one project per year to hone her armor and prop making skills. Because she is entirley self-taught, Anna Stasia tries to give back to the community by creating tutorials for her cosplays. Hoping others will learn from her mistakes and her builds, she documents as many of her cosplays as possible. These tutorials are posted on her website, as well as shared on her social media accounts and in groups on Facebook. Yaya Han is a costume designer, model and cosplay entertainer based in Atlanta, GA. She discovered the unique creative pastime of cosplay at Anime Expo in 1999 as a young fan, with no prior trained skills in sewing or crafting. However, Yaya has always been artistic, especially with pen and ink illustrations, so she quickly absorbed the heart and soul of costume making. Yaya is completely self-taught, mostly due to lack of funds and resources to enroll in classes for fashion or costume design. At the beginning, she could only afford a used $40 sewing machine and a sewing book from a thrift store. Yaya credits persistence and repeated failure as her greatest teachers in costume creation. To this day, she has made close to 300 costumes in the genres of anime/manga, comic books, video games, sci-fi and her own original designs. Over the years, Yaya has build a successful business in the cosplay community, creating a popular cosplay accessories line that is available online and at conventions, as well as her line of Yaya Han Brand merchandising. Her intricate and lavish creations have won awards and acclaim nationwide, and she has been invited to appear as a Guest, Panelist, Judge, Performer and Host to over 100 conventions and other events all over the world. Yaya's impact on the world of cosplay has been so great that she has been a Guest Judge on 2 seasons of TBS TV Network's "King of the Nerds" competition show, featured in a documentary about cosplay called "Cosplay - Crafting a Secret Identity", as well as is starring in the Syfy (Space) TV Network Docu-Series "Heroes of Cosplay".
