He has been in and was a stunt director for over 50 movies and series, including Friday the 13th, Hatchett III, Dark Wolf, Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror and The Patriot, just to name a few.        One night while filming a movie with fellow actor Kane Hodder in a haunted prison, RIck and Kane were walking. They saw something and both bolted after it. At that point, Hollywood Ghost Hunters was born.

I did grow up in the Capital, walking the halls, riding the little underground train.  Admiring the magnificance of history and architecture, even as a child.  Living in and outside DC is liviing history.  A lover of history, the paranormal and teaching and sharing information, my background includes the Maryland Renaissance Festival where I read the Tarot and Norse Runes, and the performing arts. After retiring from the University of Maryland I moved to Shepherdstown over 12 years ago and have avidly researched the town and it's history, and fulfilled my dream of sharing with the public as a tour guide by creating Shepherdstown Mysteries Walk.   It is with great pleasure I got to work with MAC Productions and Destination America for the filming of the 15 episodes of "Ghosts of Shepherdstown".  Already having the history on a number of the buildings, people and circumstances of the town, along with hundreds of hours of research,  I provided the information to help recreate the stories featured in the episodes.

We have one heck of a show for you!,    This found footage horror film is the aftermath of a paranormal investigation gone wrong. The concept of their new reality TV series "The Ghost Kids", was to get together a group of teenagers who were more sensitive to paranormal, and then have them investigate the most haunted locations in the country. For the pilot episode they go to Clay County West Virginia, where legend tells that local man Sam Mitchell abducted and killed a suspected 30 children in his house, before being found out and lynched by the townspeople. Gathered around a campfire, "The Ghost Kids" hear the story of Sam Mitchell from their producers for the first time, and are then locked into the house overnight. With paranormal equipment and cameras running, "The Ghost Kids" are ready to find out if the spirit of Sam Mitchell still resides there.

Tonight was supposed to be about a ghost hunting dog and his human. We were supposed to be talking with Harold Berryman, a fellow investigator about his 20+ years of paranormal work, including working on cases for the Institute of Metaphysics. But since when does the Universe follow all of our plans? Harold was suddenly taken from us on the morning of September 19. It is a great loss in the Paranormal community.
