Luann Joly (A E Angel) grew up in an area of Massachusetts where some of the darkest history in the country occurred. She is the author of Dead Whispers: Ghostly EVPs and, coming soon, Lizzie Borden: No Mercy along with many more on the tips of her fingers waiting to be unleashed. Luann is the founder of Whaling City Ghosts, a paranormal research team that has been serving the New England area for over thirteen years. After two decades of experiencing a negative, violent haunt that began in her childhood she decided to help others with similar problems and learned history through the people who lived it, the ghosts. She believes the living have much to learn from the dead and hopes to bring the spirits to life through historical fictions based on real events. Luann lives in the south coast of Massachusetts with her grandson, a variety of four-legged beasts, and the occasional invisible visitor.   Sherri Brake is a paranormal researcher, author, columnist and owner of the award-winning Haunted Heartland Tours. In an effort to help the Central Pennsylvania community, a new, unique way of fundraising was brought on as an idea by paranormal investigators from the Junior Investigating Paranormal Society. John and Debi Covey have been investigating the paranormal for nearly 10 years, and have been featured on numerous international paranormal radio shows/podcasts, in a paranormal documentary, and have conducted nearly 200 investigations. The idea of starting a convention in the historic city of Williamsport was solely behind one purpose...giving back to the community.  "This event will be the first of it's kind for many years to come," said John. Annie Tarpley is founder of History & Haunts paranormal research and investigative team . She also travels to haunted locations with her Not So Normal Paranormal Sisters. Annie's first ghostly encounter was when she was about 8 years old at which time she experienced her first shadow figure in the family home in rural South Carolina. Since the shadow figure encounter, Annie has always felt, heard and seen spirit . Until the last 12 - 15 years she kept most of what she experienced to herself or close friends. These trips have been to West Virginia, Kentucky, Massachusetts, New York, Tennessee, South Carolina and of course their home State of Ohio. Annie has written a book about an investigation conducted in Georgia at a Civil War battlefield area which took 3 days/nights. She and her team in painstaking work and research, over the course of a year, connected the dots through historic research and paranormal investigation. Through their efforts , a long lost Confederate soldier finally found his way to his family . The book is yet to be released as it is in rewrite at the moment.

Before her trial, Lizzie was active in the Central Congregational Church, the Christian Endeavor Society and the Woman's Christian Temperance Union. These efforts earned her the strong support of two well-respected ministers, William Walter Jubb and Edwin A. Buck. The preliminary hearing took place in Fall River from August 25th through September 1st. The grand jury heard the evidence between November 7th-21st. Lizzie was indicted by the grand jury and sat in the Taunton jail till her trial began on June 5,1893. The trial was held in New Bedford Superior Court and on June 20,1893, after just 1 hour of deliberation, Lizzie was acquitted of all charges. After her acquittal, Lizzie returned home to 92 Second St and continued to live with Emma until they purchased a house in one of the more fashionable sections of Fall River. Lizzie named her new house Maplecroft and the sisters lived together until Emma moved out in 1905.
