We are joined today by Timothy Parcell, who has been run streaking for 12 years straight - I ask him all the questions I'm very curious about - like the time he took a brief intermission while his wife was in labor for 40 hours to get his run in and if he got any heat for it, if he still has race goals while maintaining his streak, how weather affects him living in Boston, what's his minimum day, does he hit the treadmill, how a broken bone ended his first run streak and so much more!
Dutch, Sleepy G and Bill - the Splits boys are back for another wild Splits episode. We vent about daylight savings time, the weather, music as a performance enhancer, Bill "treating himself", cutting cable, Joker movie, running talk on a morning show, heart attacks, sex on a trail, edibles, G's weight loss, and SO much more randomness.
Today's guest is Ellie Pell, otherwise known as Gazzellie, who recently won the 2019 Buffalo Marathon, finished 3rd at the Hartford Marathon in a breakthrough performance qualifying for the Olympic Trials in Atlanta, won the Green Lakes 50K outright which brought a lot of attention to her because of a mishap with the 1st place trophy situation. We talk about her transition to the marathon and her recent success there, her love for Peanut butter, to poop or not during a race and so much more!
