 Breakthrough | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 60:00

Breakthrough, a 1-hour transformational healing meditation. As we navigate our daily lives, we often get stuck in the same places over and over again. We meet the same recurring challenges in our relationships, the same fears, the same frustrations, the same aches and pains. Some obstacles seem impossible, like it's our destiny to remain stuck, repeating the same mistakes over and over again. In today's meditation, we dive a little deeper, stir up still waters, break through walls, transform pain, resolve the past, repair DNA, breathe new life into every part of our selves, and begin to flow effortlessly toward our truest and highest forms. Use this meditation daily, ideally first thing in the morning, until you experience a profound and lasting change. If you have a specific goal or intent, bring it to mind now. If not, simply direct your attention toward your own quiet stillness. This podcast uses audio technology that affects the brain, so please use headphones and do not use this podcast while driving or operating machinery.  Healing From Heartbreak | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 20:00

We experience love in various form: the love of family, the love of a partner or spouse, and the love of friendship. These forms of love can be broken in various ways. When we feel hurt or betrayed in love, we may experience a broken heart. We then build a wall around our heart in order to soften the pain, and to protect ourselves from further hurt. However, this prevents us from fully giving and receiving love. In today's episode, we use meditation to heal our broken hearts. This healing allows us to open our hearts, and reminds us that we are worthy to give and receive love. Remember that we are not licensed health care practitioners, and we do not claim any specific health benefits from our podcast. You are responsible for your own health.  Moving Meditation | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 29:46

Meditation is not always about sitting still. Rather, it involves applying awareness to any act. In today's meditation, we draw on ancient practices of moving with the breath, to cultivate the body's natural flow of energy. Practice this meditation sitting or standing. If you are not experienced in movement meditation, it's best to sit. If possible, have an arm's reach of space around you. If not, it's fine to adapt the movement to whatever space you have available. This meditation can be used daily, ideally first thing in the morning, or in the evening around sunset. If these times are not available, it's fine to do it anytime. We are not licensed healthcare practitioners, and we do not claim any specific health benefits from using this podcast. Consult your doctor before any exercise program. YOU are responsible for your own health.  The Power of Kindness | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 31:50

Welcome to The Meditation Podcast, with Jesse and Jeane Stern. Episode 31, The Power of Kindness. Have you ever experienced someone acting rude or unkind toward you, and you reacted with rudeness or unkindness? Do you hold memories of unpleasant confrontations, where you later thought of the perfect angry response? Have you been hurt or wronged by someone in the past, and now -- months or years later -- still imagine their downfall and ruin? Our fellow humans can be cruel. It is perfectly natural to feeling angry, unkind, unforgiving, or vengeful. However, harboring such feelings is not very productive, and we mostly hurt ourselves -- much more than we can possibly benefit ourselves or affect anyone else. In the long run, such feelings can transform into physical disease, addiction, chronic pain, and worse. In today's meditation, we use kindness to heal ourselves. We enter a situation that may have caused us pain or anger in the past, and then re-imagine that situation with kindness toward the people involved. This has a profound effect on our well being. We are not licensed health care practitioners, and we do not claim any specific health benefits from our podcast. You are responsible for your own health.  30 - Responding in the Moment | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 26:42

Welcome to The Meditation Podcast with Jesse and Jeane Stern. Episode 30, Responding in the Moment. Find us online at The Meditation Podcast dot com. Many of us have developed habits based on past experience. As we create our view of the world, such habits can keep us safe and allow us to perform complex actions. However, by their nature, habits utilize a limited range of motion, which can trap us in a less-than-full life experience, and can lead to physical tension, anger, depression, insomnia, stress, writer's block, and overly aggressive or overly passive behavior. Today's meditation guides us toward the release of old habits by expanding our consciousness, and toward responding creatively in the moment. Responding in the moment can help us free ourselves from reacting to situations based on our past experience. It can help us fully enjoy the way we experience movement, everyday life, social interactions, even driving a car or playing a musical instrument. Please note that we are not licensed health care practitioners, and we do not claim any specific health benefits from using this podcast. You are responsible for your own health!  29 - Light of Prosperity and Abundance | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 25:56

Welcome to The Meditation Podcast with Jesse and Jeane Stern. Episode 29, Light of Prosperity and Abundance. As we start the new year, many of us set goals and resolutions for prosperity and abundance. Prosperity can mean succeeding at and enjoying one's job or business, receiving gifts, earning dividends or royalties, or simply having a lifestyle that meets one's needs. Abundance can take the form of money, having plenty of food to eat, a wealth of friends and family, or a warm bed to sleep in. We often carry habits and mental patterns from our past experiences that block our own prosperity and abundance. "I'll never succeed." "I don't deserve this." "I have to work hard just to get by." Do any of these sound familiar to you? It is these deeply rooted negative beliefs and ingratitude that can prevent us from receiving what the Universe has available to us. In today's meditation, we use light visualization to transform our beliefs about prosperity and abundance, and increase our spiritual vibration to attract prosperous and abundant lives.  28 - Emotional Clearing | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 26:40

Welcome to The Meditation Podcast, with Jesse and Jeane Stern. Episode 28, Emotional Clearing. In our polite modern society, we don't always express our emotions freely. By blocking or suppressing emotions, we may cause them to surface in inappropriate or disproportionate ways. Thus, a small frustration may eventually feel hopeless, or we may project hostility onto strangers. These blocked emotions can turn into confusion, fear, physical tension, and more. Thus, it's very important to clear our emotions, so that we can express ourselves in healthy ways -- within our own selves, to our friends and loved ones, and in our daily lives. Use this meditation anytime you feel overwhelmed, stuck or frustrated. These feelings are often a sign of blocked emotions. As you intentionally release these stuck feelings in meditation, you may find them replaced by a fresh sense of clarity, calm and purpose.  27 - Reiki Treatment | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 32:47

Welcome to The Meditation Podcast, with Jesse and Jeane Stern. Episode 27, Reiki Treatment. Reiki means "universal life force". It is a mode of healing often performed as healing touch, or laying on hands. However, Reiki can also be done at a distance. The practitioner allows the Reiki energy to flow through his or her hands, and into the recipient. Often, the recipient feels physical heat, relaxation of the breath, and the experience of unconditional love. The philosophy of Reiki is that all ailments are rooted in the spirit. By sending healing energy through the body to the spirit, the entire "self" realigns toward its natural state of perfection. Jesse is a reiki practitioner at the level commonly called "master/teacher". In today's meditation, just relax and allow yourself to receive an infusion of universal life force.  26 - Gratitude | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 20:06

Welcome to The Meditation Podcast, with Jesse and Jeane Stern. This is Episode twenty-six, Gratitude. Our modern world is full of opportunities to wish our lives were different. We may have a job or relationship that we feel isn't quite the way we'd like. We may be striving for a bigger TV, a bigger home, the latest phone, or a newer car. We may compare ourselves to our friends, wishing we had what's theirs, or wishing we get to do what they do. However, these feelings of envy and want tend to suppress our own good. In today's meditation, we simply give thanks for who we are, for where we are, for what we have, for our successes, and for the success of our friends and loved ones. This basic impression of feeling thankful can not only help us free ourselves from the stress of ambition, the agony of want; it can also create a very powerful cycle of gratitude: when we are thankful, we find more reasons to be thankful, and we find more good in our lives. As always, this podcast uses special audio technology that effects the brain, so please use headphones, and do not use this podcast while driving or operating machinery. Welcome to The Meditation Podcast, Episode 23 - Grief. We want to start out by wishing everyone a happy New Year. We know that this year will be the start of wonderful possibilities in all of your lives. In order to start fresh, it is beneficial to release the past. Today's meditation is about releasing grief. Grief can occur in the loss of a loved one, the ending of a relationship, loss of a job, or loss of a home; and its effects can linger long after the loss itself. In this episode, we let go of grief and begin anew. As most of you know, this podcast contains audio technology that affects the brain.  Twenty-one - The Unknown : Fear, Risk, Failure and Success | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 23:15

Have you ever wanted to acheive something, but chosen not to try because you were afraid of failure? Taking a risk means inviting a change into our lives. Success may mean satisfaction or reward, but it can also lead us into life's uncharted territory: the Unknown. On the other hand, failure may mean disappointment or shame, but it may also allow us to stay in life's comfort zone. The Unknown can be a terrifying place, and if our subconscious is not prepared, we may block our own success, without even realizing it! In today's meditation, we'll seek a new perspective on a past failure. Next, we'll imagine a risk, and create a mental "What if I Win" map for the Unknown.  Nineteen - Money | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 23:32

Find us on Facebook at facebook.com/theMeditationPodcast. This is Episode Nineteen: Money. The concept of Money, even the word 'money', can be emotionally charged for many people. Many of us carry ideas, baggage, or even trauma around money, that no longer serves our highest good. This can inhibit the natural flow of money through our hands and through our lives. In today's meditation, we explore the true meaning of money, and our relationship to it. More importantly, we release any fears and emotions that we may hold toward money, allowing us to reach our potential for wealth and prosperity. Finally, we use a special manifestation blessing to attract an influx of money into our lives. Remember that this meditation uses binaural beats that affect the brain, so please use headphones, and do not use this podcast while driving or operating machinery. Please note that we are not health care practitioners, nor are we financial advisors, and we do not claim any specific health -- or wealth -- benefits from using this podcast.  Eighteen - Our Story | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 4:46

Our Story - an open letter to our listeners Welcome to The Meditation Podcast, with Jesse and Jeane Stern. Over the last few years, between 2007 and 2011, we received hundreds of emails from people, asking why we stopped updating our podcast, and whether we were going to continue. We gave the vague answer that we were going through personal challenges. Well, we've decided to take the time to explain, and today we ask you to indulge us in telling our story. Now, let's begin. In 2006, the year that we started The Meditation Podcast, Jeane lost her birth father due to complications from Leukemia. We were just recovering from the loss of a baby the year before in a late-term miscarriage. In 2007, Jeane's oldest sister, who was also her best friend, died suddenly from a ruptured brain aneurysm. Her aunt and three of her cousins died, two in tragic accidents (one at sea, and one on a motorcycle).  Her adoptive parents, who had raised her since birth, died in 2008. Her mother died first from a stroke, then her father two and a half months later from heart failure. I lost my grandmother in 2009, and then my uncle died in 2010, after a long-term fight with cancer. The grieving process was compounded, and seemed endless. All of these deaths in our family took a toll on us emotionally, spiritually and financially. This also affected our marriage. Ironically, it was also during this time that our careers started to change. For one, I began to travel more for work. We both spent most of our time working and recovering from the years of stress and grief. Some of our challenges are not over yet, but we are learning to go through them. These years have shown us what is most important in our lives, and how precious life is. We can both clearly attest that what has not killed us has made us stronger. It was last year, in 2011, that we profoundly realized how much we needed to continue the podcast, in spite of our distractions. That's when we finally decided to re-commit ourselves to regular updates, and to staying in touch with all of you. We know how important this podcast is to you. We want to let you know today that it is just as important to us. Your many donations and emails have shown us how much the podcast has made a positive difference in your lives. And we will continue making them for as long as you keep listening!
