Owner of Brid's Close We will discuss the daily life of maintaining a shop in our economy Bernadette Montana has been teaching and practicing Wicca and witchcraft, the Tarot and Native American practices for over 30 years. She is a 3rd degree priestess in the Progressive ways under Janet Farrar and Gavin Bone, a tribal member and pipe carrier of the Sun Bear tribe (an all nations tribe), and a tribal member of the Baramaya tribe (Taino bloodline). Currently a 3rd degree Reiki practitioner, Bernadette has given classes in the Tarot, and in Wicca, in shops all over Orange County NY. These shops include The Sugar Loaf Inn, Windows to the Sky, Sunshine Studios and others. She currently owns her own metaphysical shop in Cornwall, NY called Brid's Closet. Bernadette also facilitates events and festivals in Orange County NY, such as The Beltane Festival in Cornwall and The Yule Celebration in New Windsor, and organizes The Newburgh and Cornwall Witches Meet-Up (the largest meet-up group in the lower Hudson Valley area)  

Ed is with Krys Copeland, reaching across to Europe, Krys Copeland is a teacher, a writer, a vlogger, and a business owner, but she wasn't always. Born into an impoverished, abusive family with parents suffering from mental illness and substance abuse issues, Krys struggled most of her childhood to just understand why the world was so cruel. After overcoming teen pregnancy and obtaining her college degree against all odds, through the financial collapse of 2008, through her own mental illnesses of PTSD and BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder), Krys began her career as a teacher, but soon found herself just as frustrated with the irresponsible spending and lack of proper funding in the American education system. Krys became a business owner by accident, an attempt to make enough money to pay for books in her reading classroom. But as Krys learned more and more about entrepreneurship, her business grew. Always looking for ways to improve as a leader in her company, Krys restructured Elite Transcription, sole proprietorship, to Skoth Transcription, LLC, with locations in four continents across the world. Passionate about transparency, integrity, fair trade, and respecting every person's voice, Krys continues to challenge the status quo of how business is done, rejecting a top-down corporate structure in favor of a flexible, horizontal, and circular corporate structure in Holacracy. Christian Day is a modern day Warlock living in the Crescent City of New Orleans, Louisiana and, with his husband warlock Brian Cain, owns Warlocks, Inc., a business umbrella dedicated to their various business pursuits. Christian and Brian host HexFest, an annual weekend of Witchery in New Orleans and Festival of the Dead, a monthlong celebration of the spirits held each October in Salem, Massachusetts that includes such popular events as the Official Salem Witches’ Halloween Ball, an Annual Psychic Fair and Witchcraft Expo, and an authentic séance. Both an initiate and practitioner of the ancient arts of Witchcraft, Christian sees his practices as both a spiritual priesthood devoted to the magic of the old Gods and the practice of old world folk Witchery, healing, and communion with the dead.
