Start out with a brief NBA segment where I shoutout STL native Jayson Tatum for going third overall to the Celtics. I then do a deep dive into Asking Schmidt which was actually interrupted multiple times by my mother which was great. I also talk about multiple conspiracy theories which I believe to be true, namely that Stanley Kubrick faked the moon landings.
Jeremiah Tilmon's MIP is the main focus of this week's episode. Also discuss Brooks Kopeka's U.S. Open victory, what it would be like to have bartenders mic'd up, and I ask society if it will allow me to buy a weekly tanning pass.
I rip Kevin Durant apart. I also advise kids to never smoke hookah or risk losing their voices for the rest of their lives. Also a lot of talk about how much better Albert Pujols is than Barry Bonds.
Briefly talk about Mizzou Basketball National Championship odds. From there I move to a MASSIVE Asking Schmidt, where the topics ranged from the NBA Finals, the Bachelorette, Brittany Greiner as a daughter, Albert Pujols 600th home run, and possibly my favorite thing to talk about ever, grade school/CYC basketball #AngelsForever
Follow up last week's flamethrower with another gem. I issue a public apology to all SAINT LOUIS Rams fans. Tales from the weekend from the Lake of the Ozarks, followed by Sharps on the NBA Finals. Unveil a new segment in "The Prophet Schmidt" where I discuss Bryce Harper listening to the podcast. Close with Beef of the Week on Tiger Woods haters and Asking Schmidt.
Tales from the Weekend leads off Episode 9 as I highlight the differences between a drive-thru graduation vs. a five course graduation. Satan and Friends follows and I talk about the interesting dynamic of a snow angel celebration in the presence of Satan Kroenke. Jontay Porter is discussed in the Mizzou basketball segment, The Saviors. Scorched Earth this week focused on the Atlanta Braves David Ross and whether or not he would be marketable if he used Rogaine and Touch of Gray. The ep wraps up with an outstanding Asking Schmidt segment.
Graduation was briefly discussed as I didn't want to talk about it for too long for fear of crying. HUGE segment on Missouri Tiger basketball and Jeremiah Tilmon, followed by an Asking Schmidt segment that was supposed to be less than 10 minutes but went 15+ because I give the people what they want. Also I leave you guys an Easter egg at the end.
I'm back from the Kentucky Derby where I had the time of my life. On tap this week we've got Tales from the Weekend, Sharps, Scorched Earth, and as always, Asking Schmidt. Prepare to laugh, think, and of course share with your friends.
I apologize for my hiatus. Segments include Sharps, Voldemort and Friends, Beef of the Week and Asking Schmidt. I also offer a logical and rational way for baseball to make "benches clearing" actually worthwhile.
Discuss the what it's like being a Blues fan in the playoffs while not actually being a Blues fan. Also talk about the perks of the Cardinals potentially sucking this year. Segments include "Tales from the Weekend" "Beef of the Week" and "Asking Schmidt."
Ryan Rosburg joins me in studio to talk Mizzou Hoops.
WrestleMania and Undertaker's retirement are the first topics discussed on this week's pod. I then share my thoughts on the National Championship before the game, and then my feelings of drunken sorrow after the game. During those feelings I make a bulletproof case for why I have the toughest life of a sports fan in the world. I also discuss the possibility of starting a GoFundMe so people can pay me to help cope with my sports losses. Pod wraps up with the first ever #AskingSchmidt which went extremely well.
Mizzou lands Moby Dick! Segments include, "Stories From the Weekend," "You Know Who Sucks?," "Beef of the Week," "Sharps," and "Voldemort and Friends."
As in depth a 15 minute podcast as you'll find about Cuonzo Martin and his first press conference.
