It's finally here, Dead Drawers. The end of a year and the beginning of another. With this comes an opportunity to look back and reflect on everything we accomplished in 2018, as well as where we missed the mark. Join Dan, Danny, and Darrin for a special year in review episode! Of course there is a plenty of awesome news to talk about, and we answer some of our listener questions in the DDG Mailbag, but the main topic this week really steals the show. When looking back it becomes even clearer how important and truly special our Dead Draw Family is to us. All four of us here at DDG want to express our sincere gratitude for your support, your guidance, and most of all your passion to stick with us as we charge forward towards our dreams. Thank you. Huge congrats to Team DDG's Jimmy Pendarvis for winning back to back North American Regionals! Then, all three of us converge on this week's theme: Stall/Control/Mill decks. From gigantic Big Basics, to a never ending loop of Supporters, these decks have some formidable tools and have begun to make waves in the meta. Join us as we give our opinions on whether or not this archetype is good for the format, and what, if anything, should be done about it. WE DID IT! Team DDG took down their third(out of three) major US event this season! Danny Altavilla stepped up and delivered a decisive blow with Rukan's spicy tech, Chimecho, finishing the weekend undefeated. Dan was able to sit down with Danny A and discuss his tourney experience, as well as talk a bit about coaching. It's an incredibly insightful interview and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did. We talk about that news, as well as some really cool Dark Order card leaks, like Bisharp and Jirachi, plus a whole lot more. Then, Danny dives into our Memphis checklist to see where we are at in terms of preparation. Dan and Darrin hop in to bounce ideas off each other about everything from how to get product across 600+ miles as cost effectively as possible, to what kind of things we can do with our vendor space to attract customers.
