Kenny talked about his journey, from Deep South to his time as part of the Bullet Club, and how his initial New Japan persona was supposed to be similar to Steve Austin's Ringmaster. Also, he touched on having freedom in the ring, and how it unlocked the Kenny Omega we know today. The guys also compared notes on each other’s attention to detail within their matches, all the way down to thinking through exactly how long they would be affected by repeated kicks to the leg? And most importantly, they let us know the importance of having a good dance partner in the ring. Of course they couldn’t wrap the week without a little Mayweather vs. McGregor! PFFFT Here we go!

What's up, Hosers?! On this week's pod, E&C were joined by a WWE legend, and the current GM of SmackDown, Daniel Bryan! Bryan talked about how life-changing fatherhood is, before delving into the current state of wrestling and some of the guys he loves to watch. Daniel also walked the guys through the timeline that led to his in-ring departure, the specific diagnosis he was given, and the progressive steps he's currently taking to try and heal, to the point where an in-ring return could be possible. It was a fascinating talk, and one that could give hope to those who have dealt, or currently deal, with concussion issues. Before that, though, E&C caught up for a while, sending their best wishes out to the Nature Boy, talking about why they both love SummerSlam, and answering some queries that came across Mega Matt's desk of awesomeness during this past week. The above quote comes from WWE vet and current NXT wrestler Drew McIntyre, who joined E&C Pod in advance of his title match against Bobby Roode, at next week's NXT Takeover. Among the many topics covered were Drew's time in WWE, how he persevered while being away from the company, the difference in his attitude and outlook this time around, and the whirlwind day that was Orlando's pre-WrestleMania NXT Takeover. Also, we found out that Stone Cold's "What?" originated on Christian's voicemail and McIntyre revealed that E&C are partially to blame for how much he says brother brother, before he shared some kind words about Sir Thomas Dreamer (TommyTommy). Prior to sitting down with Drew, E&C caught up for a bit, talking about Christian's current acting gig, the Tommay Challenge, and the design on Edge's first pair of Sexton Hardcastle tights.
