What's up, Hosers?! Welcome to the latest edition of....E&C's Pod of Awesomeness. On this week's show, E&C were joined by former WWE writer Brian Gewirtz, which resulted in some of the greatest stories of all-time being told. There's one about PF Changs, another about Wrestler's Court, and, saving the best for last, Brian finished up by talking about what has come to be known as "The Ballad of Little Dave Bautista." Also, Brian told the Strappers about a podcast he's been working on, which debuted last week, called What Really Happened? Check it out! Sami spoke with the guys about how much indie wrestling has changed throughout the years, the impact technology has had on the business, what it was like to turn heel, and being motivated by Kevin Owens' success. Also, Christian and Sami briefly discussed their fantasy hockey league; and Sami told a story about a moment during his career that caused him to cry, while riding a bicycle. But before all that, the Rocket Strappers shared some thoughts and feelings on the WWE's most recent PPV, named after a match that will forever hold a special place in their hearts, TLC. Enjoy! From taking chances in the ring and thriving as a wrestler, to regaining his personal life through sobriety, Dustin Rhodes, AKA Goldust, has done it all. He talked to the guys about a lot, including the conception of the Goldust character, his backlot brawl with Roddy Piper, and how getting sober turned him on to working out every day. And before Goldust, Tommmmmmmmmmaaaaayyy checked in to cover his stint at New York's Comic Con with Christian. Plus, this week's Tales From the Indies featured the first EVER (we think) podcast run-in from a very special Indie guest. A mere two days prior to No Mercy, John talked with E&C about Roman Reigns, his future in the ring, and what it takes to succeed in the WWE. Also, John reminisced about some of the great matches he had with Edge, spoke on why he hasn't wrestled the Undertaker at Wrestlemania, and told the story of how he started integrating rap into his promos, which may have kept his wrestling career afloat. In addition to E&C's talk with John Cena, they honored Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and talked about Edge's jetlag, after his flight to Ireland. Enjoy, Hosers. Here we go!

What's up, Hosers?! Welcome to another Pod of Awesomeness. Things got off to a rocky start this week, as Mega Matt was late to the show. E&C got things back on track, though, by discussing Kevin Owens' headbutt heard 'round the world and catching up with TOMMAY. Tommy talked about his upcoming trip to Germany, how much he hates sitting in the middle seat on a plane, and about his favorite Subway sandwich. Then, it was time to check in with Edge's better half, Beth Phoenix, who witnessed the final of the Mae Young Classic live and in-person. E&C&B talked about some of the other wrestlers, who they didn't get to mention last week, that impressed them, the bright future of women's wrestling, and about what a Heyman-Brock Lesnar-Shayna Baszler alliance could do in the WWE. And finally, we caught up with a man who recently made his return to the WWE, after a seven-year hiatus, Shelton Benjamin! Shelton recalled getting smacked in the head repeatedly by Christian and his journey through the Indies and Japan, before telling E&C how excited he is to be working with his current tag partner, Chad Gable. First, WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix joined the show to talk about the Mae Young Classic-- the tournament's highlights thus far, who could/should thrive in the WWE, and much more. Beth will be joining the show again, once the Classic wraps up, to recap the rest of the action! Then, E&C took a quick breath before engaging in one of the funniest conversations you'll ever hear with SUGAH SHANE...SUGAH CANE...Shane Helms. E&C caught up with him for a few, talking baseball batting helmets, the Montreal Expos, and what he's doing to try and help the people of Houston. And FINALLY, last but certainly not least, we had the USOS join the Pod of Awesomeness. Jimmy and Jay told stories about growing up in one of the world's most prominent wrestling families, how they began wearing face paint, and the transition from babyface to heel tag team. What's up, Hosers?! Welcome to the latest edition of E&C's Pod of Awesomeness. This week E&C were joined by Kenny Omega from New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW)! Kenny talked about his journey, from Deep South to his time as part of the Bullet Club, and how his initial New Japan persona was supposed to be similar to Steve Austin's Ringmaster. Also, he touched on having freedom in the ring, and how it unlocked the Kenny Omega we know today. The guys also compared notes on each other’s attention to detail within their matches, all the way down to thinking through exactly how long they would be affected by repeated kicks to the leg? And most importantly, they let us know the importance of having a good dance partner in the ring. Of course they couldn’t wrap the week without a little Mayweather vs. McGregor! PFFFT Here we go!

What's up, Hosers?! On this week's pod, E&C were joined by a WWE legend, and the current GM of SmackDown, Daniel Bryan! Bryan talked about how life-changing fatherhood is, before delving into the current state of wrestling and some of the guys he loves to watch. Daniel also walked the guys through the timeline that led to his in-ring departure, the specific diagnosis he was given, and the progressive steps he's currently taking to try and heal, to the point where an in-ring return could be possible. It was a fascinating talk, and one that could give hope to those who have dealt, or currently deal, with concussion issues. Before that, though, E&C caught up for a while, sending their best wishes out to the Nature Boy, talking about why they both love SummerSlam, and answering some queries that came across Mega Matt's desk of awesomeness during this past week. The above quote comes from WWE vet and current NXT wrestler Drew McIntyre, who joined E&C Pod in advance of his title match against Bobby Roode, at next week's NXT Takeover. Among the many topics covered were Drew's time in WWE, how he persevered while being away from the company, the difference in his attitude and outlook this time around, and the whirlwind day that was Orlando's pre-WrestleMania NXT Takeover. Also, we found out that Stone Cold's "What?" originated on Christian's voicemail and McIntyre revealed that E&C are partially to blame for how much he says brother brother, before he shared some kind words about Sir Thomas Dreamer (TommyTommy). Prior to sitting down with Drew, E&C caught up for a bit, talking about Christian's current acting gig, the Tommay Challenge, and the design on Edge's first pair of Sexton Hardcastle tights. In addition to answering questions from London's finest Hosers, Christian did some singing, the guys called Tommy (TommyTommy) on stage, and Regal hit us with a hilarious Ric Flair story. Before that, though, the guys paid tribute to the late, great Roddy Piper, talked about Shinsuke Nakamura's upcoming title shot at SummerSlam, and about whether or not we'll see a future fight between Jon Jones and Brock Lesnar.
